Rejecting outdated coding shortcuts

Our team realized that sticking to old habits led only to confusion and wasted time. We made the decision to challenge every routine, from naming conventions to data storage methods. This was the moment we committed to building projects that we’d actually want to maintain.

2023

Defining our team standards for code and databases

We adopted a team-wide set of naming conventions, formatting standards, and database structuring rules. This change brought consistency, making onboarding new members and scaling projects much smoother. It also set the bar higher for how we review every pull request.

2024

Rebuilding legacy code the right way

With new standards in place, we started overhauling legacy projects. Each rewrite taught us the cost of neglecting discipline in the past and made the benefits of our new approach undeniable. Our commitment to regular refactoring became a core value.
